Join us at Standley Park on October 1st from 2-6p.m. for our Third Annual Oktoberfest Celebration.

All proceeds benefit the five public schools in University City: Curie, Doyle, Spreckels, Standley and UCHS. We give special VIP treatment to Dollar A Day donors at the $180 level or above.

This is a family friendly event with free and affordable games, contests, food, entertainment and, of course, a Beer Garden with wonderful craft beers fromSan Diego's top breweries. Our schools' principals attend and take part in a friendly competition.

Oktoberfest will be hosting the 2nd Anniversary of the University City Homebrew Contest. This year's category is Indian Pale Ale and 2011 BJCP Style Guidelines will be used. Look at our website for details to participate, www.uc-educate.org.
