In 2006, Dads’ Club was started at Curie to get dads involved in the Curie community.  Historically, the majority of parents that have been able to be involved at school were moms, so Dads’ Club began to give dads an opportunity to participate in on-campus activities.  We began with a Dads’ Club lunch the first year, and were delighted when the turnout exceeded expectations.  For the following years, we have increased to two lunches and are looking forward to even more activities as time progresses.   We hope that Dads’ Club will continue to nurture a positive influential relationship between dads and their kids.
