Here are a few important rules and reminders to help us practice safety and to keep us aware of our surroundings.

1. The speed limit during school hours is 25mph. The fine for violation is considerable.
2. It is illegal to make a U-Turn on Governor Drive except at the Edmonton intersection.
3. NEVER Cross Governor except at one of the lights. You will be putting your children at high risk for involvement in an accident. It is extremely unsafe and is a bad decision!
4. Tickets will be issued by the San Diego Police Department for leaving your car unattended in the white zone (there is a 3 minute time limit there) and for stopping at all in the "Busses Only" zone between the drop-off areas in the front of the school.
5. The front parking lot is for staff use only. There is NO student drop-off or pick-up in this area!
6. Observe all "No Parking" signs. This helps to eliminate traffic back-up.
7. Do not be rude to those who enforce these rules. We have only the safety of all of our children in mind.
8. When using the back parking lot, be courteous, patient and aware of children. Do not park in the stalls marked "Staff Only", which are reserved for teachers.
9. When using the traffic circle: This is a drop off area only. Please do not socialize or assist your children out of your vehicle. If you require extra time, please park and walk in with your child. These delays cause traffic congestion all the way out to Governor.
10. Please respect and obey the student Safety Patrol.

Leaving for school 5 minutes earlier will reduce congestion. The police will patrol our school area to help keep the streets safe. Remember to slow down and pay attention. Let's make sure we have a safe year!
