Curie PTA currently sponsors twelve enhancement programs. These programs further enrich our students education and are only made possible through the generosity and support of our Curie families and business partners. Details of our programs are outlined below. 

Back to School Night 

This annual family event is held in the fall and is a way to welcome old and new students to Curie. This is an opportunity to sign up for a PTA membership, to discover the kind of after-school programs available at Curie, visit the classrooms and the teachers and grab a bite on the blacktop.

Curie-Osity Newsletter 

Curie is proud to produce 5 times during the school year our award winning newsletter, which contains valuable information about our school.

Red Ribbon Week

In March we hold our annual Multi-Cultural Fair, intended to showcase the different cultures and nations present at Curie.

School Performance 

The school performance is a one of the most beloved activities at Curie. Here children will put up quite a show with lots of help of wonderful parents and volunteers who spend many hours dancing, choreographing, singing along and doing all kind of jobs related to the school performance.

Games Day 

At the end of the year everybody needs a cheer, so Games Day come into action for the kindergartners and first and second graders. In a non-competitive way children play supervised games and are so rewarded for a hardworking year.

Junior Olympics 

This event is held in June for the third, fourth and fifth graders. This is a competitive event with emphasis on trying one's hardest and the value of sportsmanship. Trophies are awarded after the tally.

Spring Sing 

The last big event at Curie is Spring Sing, traditionally held on the last Wednesday in May. This event gives the children a chance to share with their families and friends some of what they have been learning throughout the year with their music teacher.

Assemblies 

The PTA sponsors several assemblies during the school year for all the grades.

Curie Garden 

Our award winning garden is a well of wonder for our children. It's the work of our wonderful parents and fourth VP Mary Ricci, who always needs volunteers.

Curie Science Committee 

This committee was formed two years ago by a group of parents and teachers to help enhance the science studies at Curie. It you would like to join please go to curiescience@yahoogroups.com.

Jogging Club 

On Monday, Wednesday and Friday before school, Curie students are encouraged to run on the field behind the school. By sponsoring this program, the PTA is promoting exercise and the physical health of Curie's students.
