Volunteers are the strength of the PTA. Curie PTA is extremely active and provides many programs and activities that benefit the students and staff of Curie. These are made possible because of the dedication and enthusiasm of our volunteers. Whether you have one hour or many there is an opportunity for you. Please review the list below and see if anything listed interests you.

Here at Curie we are interested in your strengths and will quite surely be able to put them to use. Get involved! You will enjoy the rewards of working with the children at Curie!

Minimum Commitment Opportunities: 

• Assist with a fundraising event, such as Jog-A-Thon Lap Card Marker or working the food booth at the Craft Fair 
• Assist with sorting/stapling/laminating paperwork for distribution 
• Assisting with Picture Day 
• Assist with Jr. Olympics, Games Days, and/or Art 
• Prepare a booth for the Multi-Cultural Fair 

Heavier Commitment Opportunities: 

• Maintain Class Web Page 
• Classroom Weekly volunteer 
• Room Parent 
• Chairperson for the many events the PTA sponsors 
• PTA Board member 
• Traffic monitor 
• Rolling Readers (weekly commitment) 
• Bulletin boards 
• School Performance 
• Garden 
• Science Squad
