Swap Your Candy for Cash (for Curie Family Science Nights)!

Bring your leftover Halloween candy to the donation bin in the front office through Tuesday, November 8 (new deadline)!

The Super Dentists will buy the candy for $1/pound (funds raised go to Family Science Nights; donated candy is sent to active duty service members).

Please drop candy in sealed bags (Ziplocs ok) due to ant issues.

 

Square 1 Art Fundraiser Coming Home Soon

Your child's custom catalog for the Square 1 Art fundraiser was sent home last week, and your child's art can also be viewed online!! Simply search for your child's art using Art Search, & enter the state, school name, & student's last name. Your student's art & code will appear, & you may order.

*Square 1 is only offering 'ship-to-home' option this year*

Was your child absent for their Square 1 Art project? Upload additional art if you like, using Art Upload. If you have questions, or need anything at all, contact customer care online. Thank you for supporting Curie!

 

Curie Science Committee Presents: Incredible Science!

Join us for a night of super science & fun! Who: 3rd - 5th Graders (siblings welcome, UTK - 2nd Grade science night in April) When: Wednesday, November 9, 6-7 PM Where: Curie Auditorium Food for sale starting at 5:30 PM. All food sales benefit 5th Grade Promotion. Kids should wear closed-toed shoes. Please do not attend if you have any symptoms of illness. For more information, please email sciencecommittee@curiepta.org.

 

The Curie Community Fair Is Right Around the Corner!

If you know a vendor interested in participating, please email Jennifer at curiecraftfair@curiepta.org to request a vendor registration form.

The results are in! Here's a snapshot of the top earners from the Curie Colt Stampede:

We also have 32 students who get to be a Junior Principal for the Day & 99 students who will be invited to a Super Star Pizza Party with the Principal! Great job, Colts!

 
  • Annual Student Council campaigns have begun as 4th & 5th graders from each classroom have been nominated to run for officer positions. Candidates will create a poster to display for their campaign, & will present a speech to the entire upper grade. Voting takes place in 3rd-5th grade classrooms on Election Day, which is November 8th. Good luck to all of our candidates!
