Call for Volunteers: Spring Performance

Volunteers are needed NOW to plan the spring performance! Previous performances have included a play (typically consisting of choreographed dances by 1st-4th graders with 5th graders providing dialogue in between) and a talent or variety show. If a play is desired, we would need a director/writer, a volunteer for the lights, a volunteer for the music, and 20 group leaders from January to April once a week. The team and script would need to be ready by November to start meeting with group leaders to choose music, costumes, and the practice schedule. If you have another idea for a spring performance you would like to run, let us know!

Reach out to Candi at volunteerevents@curiepta.org for more information and to sign up.

Planning Is In Motion for the Curie Community Fair

The PTA is bringing back a reboot of the beloved community event, previously the Curie Craft Fair, renamed the Curie Community Fair. The event is scheduled for Saturday, December 3 and is geared towards bringing the community together through vendor booths, food trucks, and a kids entertainment area. If you are a vendor interested in participating, please email Jennifer to request a vendor registration form.

UTK Request for Used Halloween Costumes

Do you have a Halloween costume your child has outgrown? Before you toss it, please consider donating it to the teachers in UTK; they would love to give it a new life! They are looking for sizes 3-5 years old (or XS/S). The easier to put on the better! Send an email to Mrs. Gingras to arrange drop off.

  • Check out Mr. B's curated art room wish list to help him stock up on supplies for the year.
